William (Bill) Edwin Knapp passed away July 15, 2020. He was born in Zanesville, Ohio on September 9th, 1946. The family moved to Tempe, Arizona during Bill’s school years. Bill joined the Marine Corp when he was 17 years old and served two tours in Vietnam. Bill was an entrepreneur, which included being a carpenter, mechanic, salesman, photographer to name a few. Bill could sell just about anything and he did. Bill loved taking pictures of mountains, animals, birds and the ocean. He took school pictures, as well as pictures of softball teams, pool leagues, little leagues and horseshoe teams. Bill loved to go dancing hence a nickname given to him of “Twinkle Toes”. Bill is survived by his wife, Roxie, son, Stearman (Heather) and grandsons Ben and Keagan.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at Veteran’s Memorial Park (Covered Shelter), 930 Veteran’s Memorial Parkway, Boise, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
