Wade Albert Stearns
Wade A. Stearns Nampa Id, died at a Boise hospital January 16, 2022 at the age of 73.
Wade was born January 13, 1949, to Sterling and Charlotte (Barnes) Stearns in Boise Idaho.
Wade graduated from Petaluma Senior High School (Petaluma Ca) in 1967.. Following graduation Wade enlisted in the U.S Army, he was stationed at Fort Bragg North Carolina and served in the Vietnam war as an Air Traffic Controller. Wade eventually returned to Idaho where he met and married Jeri-Ann (Naugle) Stearns (divorced 2016); they had one son, Josh Stearns in 1978.
Wade is preceded in death by his father Sterling Arthur Stearns, and his niece Candice Bergin.
Wade is survived by his son Josh Stearns,and his wife April (Fuhrman) Stearns and granddaughter Allison Stearns Middleton, Id. his loving mother Charlotte Raye (Barnes) Stearns Kuna Id, and three sisters; Cathy (Dave) Anderson and family Fresno Ca, Allice (Dave) White and family Kuna Id. and Ginny (Frank) Angemi and family Kuna Id.
Wade will be laid to rest at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery.
A committal service with military honors will be held at 1:00 pm, on Friday, February 4, 2022, at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery, 10100 N. Horseshoe Bend Rd. in Boise.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bowman Funeral Parlor of Garden City.
