Tracy Niles Tamura was born in Seattle, WA to Charles and Violet Tamura on March 21, 1942 has passed at the age 80, August 1, 2022. After graduating from Vale Union High School in 1960 he spent several years in the Army National Guard. He farmed the family farm with his dad until after he passed then started his journey working at Simplot Grower Solutions in Vale/Ontario, Oregon as a custom applicator, then eventually went on to work as their shop manager for them for 37 years retiring in 2011. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his family and friends at their cabin near Granite, Oregon. He loved roaming the mountainside with his jeep, Honda Trail 90, or four-wheeler. When home could be oftentimes be found tinkering and welding in his shop. Anyone that knew him when he built something it was always built so strong we all joked it was hurricane proof. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Nancy; their son Tim, and his spouse Jayleen; daughter Stacy; sister Lana; three granddaughters, Tara and her spouse Dan, Nicole, Katie and her spouse Justin; two grandsons Haden and Cole; four great grandchildren, Dean, Holly, Jack, and Charles; as well as numerous family and friends. Tracy was preceded in death by his parents, some best friends, and grandson, Trey Tamura. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Fly fast, high, and free, TNT!
