Stephen Anthony Campbell November 6, 1957 - October 5, 2022

Stephen “Tony” Anthony Campbell of Emmett, ID, passed away on Wednesday, October 5th, 2022 having lost his battle with cancer, Tony passed peacefully in his sleep. He was born on November 6th, 1957, son of the late Ernest Edward Campbell and Nealy Mae (Palmore) Campbell. Having been born, raised and spending most of his life in Crescent City, CA, he loved the coast and the Redwoods.

Tony is survived by his two daughters Nicole (Campbell) Cullan and TammyJoe Campbell Valdez. His two sons Zackariah Campbell and Daniel Campbell. His grandchildren Olivia, Melanie, Ryleigh, Connal, Ashley, Danielle, Sarah and Nathaniel (Nate). His brothers Ernest Darrell Campbell, Kenneth Campbell, Thomas Campbell and Kerry Campbell. As well as his only sister Dianna Campbell-Hyatt. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces, cousins and more. Tony was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers; James Campbell and Teddy Mack Campbell. As well as many friends and loved ones.

Stephen, known by most as Tony, was an avid outdoors-man with a big heart. He could often be found doing what he enjoyed most, fishing on a river bank, pier or lake, or in the woods looking for the next buck he could take home. However, what he loved most was a good conversation with those he loved. All who remember him, remember with fondness. He was a man that was quick with encouragement, understanding and a helping hand.

Below is a dedication from his children;

Though years like miles had grown,

caught up in life but with more to say.

We were confident there was more time.

A moment more, an hour, a day.

Time for another talk,

a moment more to spend together.

Life has a way of taking what is important,

leaving you craving more, forever.

Now that all is said and done,

there yet remains one wish.

That I could trade all that I possess,

for just one moment, a moment I could cherish.

His absence leaves a hole in the lives of those who loved him that will not soon be filled.
