Shirley Ann Logue August 8, 1934 - April 17, 2019

Shirley Ann Logue, 84, of Meridian passed away April 17, 2019. Shirley was born August 8, 1934 in Aurora, Missouri to Loma E. Ashlock of Missouri and Katherine Ekhoff of Nebraska.

Shirley went to school in Sumpter, OR., Canyon City, OR., Payette, ID., and completed high school in Burns, OR. She went on to complete college at Nampa Business College in Nampa, ID.

Shirley met and married Glen M. Logue September 9, 1956 in Hines, Oregon. The two have been happily married for 63 years.

Throughout Shirley’s life she has been employed with Oregon State Health and Welfare in Burns, Oregon. She has also worked for Idaho State Health and welfare, First Security bank, Idaho Department of Aeronautics, Day Care while raising her family and All State Insurance.  Shirley also loved volunteering for Department of Aeronautics search and rescue team.

Shirley’s hobbies included flea marketing, reading, canning, crossword puzzles, scramble, gardening, camping, travel by adventurous routes, spending time at the Oregon coast, and playing pinochle. She also enjoyed antiquing, being part of the neighborhood watch, and always being part of the community of mothers who would look after each other’s children. Shirley was a Christian woman and loved the Lord.

Shirley is survived by her husband of 63 years, Glen Logue- son’s Michael and Merton (Becky) Logue; Grandson’s Jacob Logue and John Munger; Grand daughter’s Julia Logue and Matti Partch (Jamie); Great grandson Jaxon Logue all living in the Treasure Valley. Shirley is also survived by her sister Betty Ashlock of Hines, OR., and sister Peggy (Tom) Jordan; Nephews, Sam (Christy) Jordan and Damion Jordan, Great Nephew; Ty Jordan, Great Niece; Chelsea Jordan and of course Syd.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Loma E. Ashlock and mother Katherine Ekhoff Ashlock; and her son, Mark Andrew Logue, 28.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Bowman Funeral Parlor located at 10254 W. Carlton Bay Dr., Garden City, Idaho.
