Shawn Patrick Chapman, 63, of Eagle, Idaho passed away on October 6, 2024. Shawn was born July 19, 1961, in Whittier, California.
Shawn was an avid football fan, dedicated to knowing statistics for the teams and dazzled everyone with his culinary abilities. Shawn was artistic and had a special talent for abstract art. He was talented in his ability to display even the simplest treasure in the most remarkable way.
He was soft-spoken with a gentle kindness and was always willing to lend an ear or hand for whatever anyone needed. He had a silent humor that resonated with his quick wittedness and his ability to make you smile, giggle or laugh at his response or insight into any given situation.
Shawn had a love for poetry which was personal, deep and thought provoking, which was who Shawn really was. Shawn’s fundamental character was based on his love and devotion to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and he is welcomed with open arms.
Shawn is survived by his loving father, Patrick Chapman; his brother, Kerry Chapman of Eagle, Idaho; his niece, Alexandria Chapman of Boise, Idaho; and his Aunt Joyce Goodenough of Haugen, Montana.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Rae Chapman and his brother, Kevin D. Chapman.
A private family burial will be held at the West End Cemetery in Buhl, Idaho.
