May 19, 2021 at 9:57 amMerk and his wife, Lin, are so sad to lose beloved sister Ruth. Ruth and big brother Merlin shared so many memories of their home in Burley, their parents and their sisters and brothers. And of course Ruth and Merlin shared musical talent and love of music of all kinds. Ruth leaves a giant hole in our hearts and in this world. Merk and Lin were planning to attend the funeral but because of Merk’s age (92) he decided just today not to make the trip. We are with you all in our hearts and spirits. Here are Merk’s words: “We love Ruth a lot and we had good times together and she was a wonderful sister when we were growing up. We sang together and worked together at home and stayed close all our lives. She was a the best! I loved her dearly and miss her. God bless.”
