Richard (Rick) Alan Kessler, age 59, passed away suddenly on June 26, 2020 of natural causes.
Rick was born March 16, 1961 in Jerome, Id, and was raised in Boise. He will be greatly missed for his kindness, sense of humor and love for his family. Rick was happiest when spending time outdoors and absolutely loved fishing. He always had his fishing gear with him. Rick was generous and passionate about helping others. He especially enjoyed working alongside his brothers repairing cars, working in construction, and working on various projects. He was always listening to music, and liked to play the drums and guitar, and sing. He was also naturally skilled at drawing.

Rick will be loved and remembered by so many, particularly his wife of 20 years Essia Kessler (Boise, ID), mother Kay Satterwhite (Boise, ID), father Jack Kessler (Delta, UT), brothers Jack Kessler (Boise, ID) and Steve Kessler (Heyburn, ID), and sister Kim (Marty) Reid (Boise, ID). Rick is also survived by stepsister Judy Torrez, stepbrothers Kevin Jones, Jerry, Jim, Tony, Mark, and Brian Satterwhite, as well as numerous adored nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends, and his beloved dog Milo.

Rick was preceded in death by his stepfather Jerry Satterwhite, brother Gary Lee Kessler, and sister Tiffany Kessler Lazaro.

Arrangements are under the direction of Bowman Funeral Parlor of Garden City.

    Rick my dear friend we have been friends for 40 years we have had our ups and downs , you were my first boyfriend we were young dumb kids but we have stayed friends , Rick I I will always miss you, and love no matter what. Your friend julli
