Phyllis Louise Lloyd passed peacefully on May 4th at her home in Boise, surrounded by her children.
Born the daughter of Luther and Verna Mays in Liberal, Kansas, September 13, 1933, Phyllis was loving mother of six-Lutricia Capps, Suzetta, William, and Marty Henry, Cathy Lloyd-Mustagog and James Lloyd. She enjoyed her family very much and some of her hobbies included gardening, bowling and was a social butterfly everywhere she went.
She met her late husband, Jerry Lloyd on a blind date at Boise’s Westgate Bowling Lanes in 1964. After knowing each other only six weeks, they were married. They had a very loving marriage for 35 years before Jerry’s passing in 2001.
She is survived by all six of her children, eight grandchildren (Julie O’Brien-Capps, Heidi Cantrell, Jeremy James, Terra Gillum, Kadie Lee, Elliott Lyon, Emily Lyon, and Evan Lemmon,) and six great grandchildren (Andrew and Zoe Cantrell, Severin and Nikana James and Logan Lyon.)
Services will be held Wednesday, May 22nd at 3:00 p.m., Hilton Garden, 145 E. Riverside Dr., Eagle Idaho 83616
