Paulette Smith Daily lost her battle to cancer on May 14, 2021. She was born April 18, 1944 in Brigham City, Utah to Richard W. Smith & Arzella Dye Smith. Her family moved seven times from Utah to Idaho and back to Utah. They finally headed to Sacramento, California to stay. Paulette was very outgoing and made friends easily, even through she had attended 11 different schools by the time she was 15yrs old. Her family spent weekends on their cabin cruiser traveling the Delta ad fishing. She was taught by her Father how to navigate the many waterways and catch different kinds of fish. After her first marriage her new family moved to the foothills and raised animals and joined 4H. She worked at Buckeye and Camerado Elementary Schools. After a divorce, she went to work for Quaker Oats Company. She also worked at a realty company and decided to sell Real Estate. In her forties she joined the Cameron Park Country Club and loved to play golf. She was a success in sales and finally met the love of her life. SI loved to play golf along with her also. She enjoyed playing the piano and the organ. She was also a regular attender to Eagle Christian Church.
Paulette was preceded in death by her 3 baby brothers, her parents, her sister Carolyn Mask and her grandson Stanley Dean Swearingen. She is survived by her sweetheart SI Daily, sister Rebecca Smith (Jim), daughter Deborah Spieth (Phil), sons Stanley (Beth) and Richard (Kalen) Swearingen.
She was a proud Grandmother of 13 Grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She has 8 nieces and nephews and had over 67 cousins. She will be remembered for her quick wit and her ability to make people laugh.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Bowman Funeral Home located at 10254 West Carlton Bay, Garden City, Idaho
