Paul Allen White, a Navy man, mentor to many and a friend to all, passed away on July 4, 2020 at a care home in Meridian, Idaho. He was 74 years old. Born on September 11, 1945 in Boise, Idaho to Kenneth and Lillian (Pettit) White. Paul served in the Navy for 23 years and held the rank of Chief Petty Officer.
He was preceded in his death by 4 of his siblings and 2 grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife, Marion White, of 46 years and their children Samantha, Jennifer and Paul and his 2 children, Leah and Amber, from his first marriage. Paul is also survived by his sisters Marcene and Galena. He has 27 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Paul was the happiest fishing, camping and spending time with his family. He loved to tell stories of his childhood and of his days in the Navy. Paul was the type of man to go out of his way to help others, including complete strangers, no matter what the problem was. He was a man of honor, wisdom and integrity. He is very much loved and will be missed.
The family would like to thank Angela Johnson and Keystone Hospice for the special care provided to Paul.
A committal service will be held, 10:00am, Monday, July 13, 2020, at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery, Boise. 10100 Horseshoe Bend Rd., Boise. The Idaho State Veterans Cemetery is observing the new Covid19 guidelines.
