Patricia Ann DeCuir
Patricia ‘Pat’ DeCuir passed away on September 22 at the age of 84. 
Born in Tacoma Washington, she is a U.S. Navy Korean War veteran where she served as a communication specialist based in San Diego, California.
She spent most of her life in New Orleans raising her children; Chuck, Karen, Karl and Andy.
She was the Administration Manager for the New Orleans YMCA and took great joy in serving as “second Mom” to her children’s friends and kids from the YMCA.
Eventually settling in Boise, Idaho with her sisters in their final years.
She is survived by her four children, three daughters-in-law, a son-in-law, three granddaughters, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to or your local veterans organization, Arthritis Foundation, or favorite charity.
A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 am, on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 2612 W. State St. in Boise. A committal service with military honors will follow at 1:00 pm at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery, 10100 N. Horseshoe Bend Rd. in Boise.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bowman Funeral Parlor of Garden City.
