Norman Edward Waugh
Norman Edward Waugh, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on Saturday, July 9th in Boise, Idaho at age 83.
Born June 7th, 1939, in Long Beach, California, he lettered in football at Woodrow Wilson High School before joining the Air Force upon graduating. Then in 1959, he married Patricia Ann Stanford, who stood faithfully by his side through 63 years of marriage. She was beside him the moment he passed.
In 1972, the two moved their family from Long Beach, California to Eagle, Idaho, trading the city for the country. In Idaho, Norm fell in-love with Idaho’s wildlife and outdoor lifestyle.
He will forever be remembered as a romantic and a hard worker who displayed open affection for his family and who worked long hours to provide them security.
He is survived by his children, Jack, Kathleen, Candy, and Jimmie, as well as ten grandchildren.
Family meant everything to Norm, and he took great comfort in knowing he and his wife together created one that will honor his memory and carry out his legacy.
The funeral service will be at Boise Church of Christ on Thursday, July 21st, at 1:00pm.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bowman Funeral Parlor of Garden City.
