Nicholas (Nick) Andrew Trueba
Nicholas (Nick) Andrew Trueba – husband, son, and friend – passed away October 19, 2021 at his home in Boise, ID surrounded by family and friends. He is survived by wife Maggie Trueba, father Paul Trueba, mother Marcella Trueba, brother Michael Trueba, sister-in-law Desiree Trueba, niece and nephew Jack Trueba and Eisley Trueba, Grandmother Gail Trueba, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Nick was born in Boise, ID on August 17, 1987 to parents Paul and Marcella Trueba. He grew up in Mountain Home, ID and graduated from Mountain Home High School in 2006. He was a dedicated, hard worker and held many different jobs, but made his career helping others find their forever homes. He became a successful realtor and later business owner when he purchased Mountain Home Pro Real Estate in 2016.
Throughout his life, Nick was passionate about hunting. Whether for deer, elk, foul, or horns, he enjoyed spending that time outdoors. He was honored for the beautiful elk he shot measuring 380” and fondly called “Tiny”.
Nick met his wife Maggie in 2017 in Portland, OR through their mutual love of CrossFit. They were married August 18, 2018 in Meridian, ID and enjoyed life together by hiking, playing cribbage, spending time with friends, and making delicious food. The couple had no children except for their fur babies.
Nick was known for building lasting friendships and being the glue that held his group of friends to each other. He enjoyed gathering everyone together through backyard BBQs, guitar jam sessions, and hunting every opportunity he received.
Nick gave his life to the Lord October 19th. He is loved and missed, but is safe in the arms of his loving savior.
A memorial service for Nick will be held Friday, October 29th at 11am at Eagle Christian Church 4601 S Surprise Way Boise, ID 83716. Flowers may be sent to the above address.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bowman Funeral Parlor of Garden City.
