Michael William Lewis, a lifelong New Yorker recently living in Boise, ID, passed away on October 8, 2020 at the age of 50 after a long illness.
Michael was a fun loving soul who quickly gathered friends wherever he went. Growing up on Long Island, living in Burbank/North Hollywood or in Boise, there were always people who fell in love with Michael. But no one as much as Tina Peters. For 23 years, Tina has supported Mike, loved Mike, was driven crazy by Mike…but always was by his side.
A huge sports fan, he never lost his loyalty to his NY teams. Giants, Islanders, Mets, Knicks. Which just meant, over the last several years, Mike watched a LOT of losing. But his passion never waned.
Michael is survived by Tina, her mother Mary and brother Tom; his brother Christopher and his wife Kelda, nieces Sydney and Olivia Lewis, his Aunt Barbara Lipman and her husband Gene, and cousins Charlotte and Katherine Lipman. Preceded in death by father Roger Lewis and mother Carolyn Asch Lewis, grandparents Roy and Sylvia Asch, grandparents William and Yvonne Murphy.
A Memorial Service will be held on November 7 at 4:00pm at the residence of Greg and JoAnn Garver, 2520 Pinebrook Dr., Carson City, NV 89701.
