Michael Wayne Trull March 11, 1967 - December 6, 2020

Michael Wayne Trull

Born 03/11/1967 – Died 12/06/2020.

Mike was born in Glendale, California and moved to Boise, Idaho when he was 4 months old. Mike lived a full life and touched many hearts through his life. He lived every day as if it was his last. Every room he walked into was suddenly lit up because of his genuine happy and outgoing love of life. He cherished his friends and his family more than anything. Mike loved the outdoors and loved camping, and mostly enjoyed playing his guitar.

Mike had an exceptionally large presence in the local music community. He played in many bands through his life and built strong relationships through each one of them. Mike was a founder of Question Authority and was also a current member of Pinebox Posse and Slumlord at his passing. Mike played in many other bands throughout his life, more than could possibly be named. Mike was also the godfather and founder of a local music event known as Rock The Mountain. This event brought his two enjoyments together by putting live music in the mountains that he loved. This event created a venue in the local music scene which enabled many other bands and musicians to get their start. Due to his enormous impact on the music scene, his passing leaves a hole that will never be filled.

Mike is survived by his parents Janice and Jimmy Trull, his brothers Jeff (Marie) Trull, Chris (Jennifer) Trull, Jeremy (Rhiannon) Trull, his children, Malorie, Quinn, Jacob, and Xander, his grandchildren Tre, Dru, Mia, Sevyn, Apollo, Rain, and Zyler, and many nieces and nephews.

The family will be having a private service soon but is planning to host a large celebration of life in the spring or summer when conditions permit.

Arrangements are under the direction of Bowman Funeral Parlor of Garden City.
