Beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend; Melanie “Mel” Ann Webb (51) passed away on September 13th, 2022, at her home in Eagle, Idaho surrounded by family after a courageous thirteen-year battle with cancer.
Born in Grand Forks, North Dakota on July 25th, 1971; Melanie was the second youngest of four sisters. Mel spent the majority of her childhood in the Pacific Northwest. She excelled in athletics throughout her life, competing in gymnastics, dance team, and fitness. She was well known for her sense of humor and unmistakable laugh.
Mel graduated from Clackamas High School in 1988. She went on to attend the University of Puget Sound where she graduated in 1992 with a degree in accounting. Soon after, Melanie became a licensed CPA. At her passing, Melanie was Chief Financial Officer and Managing Partner at Pacific Crest Services in Eagle, Idaho.
Melanie married in August 1997 and in 2005 relocated to Eagle, Idaho where she spent the remainder of her life. Melanie had two sons; Garand (21) and Colton (18) whom she loved more than anything. Her bond with each of her boys was undeniable and they were her most notable accomplishments.
Over a decade ago, Mel decided to join a SHiNE Dance Fitness class on a whim. Since then, she was able to share her passion for dance by choreographing and teaching classes. Mel helped others find their passion and love for dance and fitness through SHiNE. More than anything though, SHiNE gave Melanie lasting friendships.
Melanie is survived by her sons; Garand and Colton Webb, her parents; Eugene and Sharon Krueger, her three sisters; Tineke (Rick) Bright, Shannon Dindia, Amber Fox, her partner Colin Cornelison, numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, and many cherished friends.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00pm on October 22nd, 2022, at the following:
Foothills Christian Church, 9655 W State Street, Boise, Idaho 83714

September 29, 2022 at 9:27 amMel’s courage touched so many lives through Shine Dance Fitness, I am one of them. Her sense of humour, laughter, silliness but most of all COURAGE are a few things I will never forget. Though we’ve never met, the sadness and sense of loss I felt on her passing is immeasurable. I will forever be grateful for knowing her. Perhaps one day, I will be able to dance with her in heaven.
