Martha Louise Hudson Strand, 71, of Boise, passed away March 5, 2021. Martha was born on September 30, 1949 in Butte, Montana to parents William S. Hudson and Geraldine Handlin. She lived all her younger years in Butte attending both grade school and high school in Montana.
Martha met and later married Tim Strand in August of 1971, together they had one son, Jeffrey Strand. In 1987 the three moved to Boise, Idaho where Martha worked for the FBI for 39 years, serving the United States team from Puerto Rico to Hawaii.
Traveling, crocheting, and making sure she stayed in touch with her family was something Martha loved and made sure to do. The endless chats with her best friend, Brenda Steward of Helena, Montana was something she always made sure to make time for. Above all, Martha loved spending time with her two grandchildren.
Martha leaves behind her former spouse and lifelong friend Tim Strand; son, Jeffrey (Penny); her grandchildren Kelsey and Cooper, all of Boise, Idaho; and brother, William “Ted” Hudson (Kim) of Roseville, California.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Geraldine and her younger brother, Kenneth of Butte, Montana.
