Marc Aaron Foote
Marc Aaron Foote passed away on Saturday June 18th, 2022. He was born February 1, 1973, in Mont Clair, California to Roy Foote and Rebecca Nelson Foote. He spent his school years in Boise, Idaho, a proud Borah alumni. He worked in the construction trade, owning his own business for years, proudly working for Berkeley Building Company the last seven years.
Husband, Father, Bonus Dad, Son, Uncle, Brother, beloved friend, and soul. Marc never knew a stranger; he made every heart he touched feel important and heard, and genuinely meant it. An avid fisherman, hunter, golfer, soccer athlete, softball player and lover of life. Marc played and coached multiple sports; he was a gifted athlete his whole life. He loved sports and the connection he had with so many in these communities. He was passionate about music and life.
Marc was always seeking the next adventure with his family and friends; collecting treasures or finding ways to live life to the fullest. His greatest gifts to everyone he met were his complete support, unwavering honesty, and love. He lived his life selflessly in service of others, always taking the time to let his family and friends know what true genuine caring is and how special they are. Marc was a fierce and loyal friend. He was the guy you called no matter when, no matter what. If you needed him, he would be the first one with his hand out to help. He was larger than life, not only physically but spiritually. A master storyteller, a deep thinker, and had a memory for everything down to the simplest trivial minutiae. His thirst for learning, knowledge, and understanding was insatiable yet he had a well thought out, raw opinion about most things and was always ready to share. He knew everyone in this big little town and everyone he knew would say the same. He loved his family with ferocity and thoughtful tenderness. Marc was beyond one of a kind and his absence has left a huge emptiness in this world.
The best story of Marc’s life is his fairytale love story with Rhonda. They first found each other in their young adult years and were married in their spirit home, Stanley Idaho. Their young hearts couldn’t manage their inexperience and deep passion. Two decades later, after living separate lives, they found each other again and never looked back. Their connection, love, and passion for each other shines like a beacon for anyone who saw them together and continues to do so after his passing.
Marc is survived by his wife Rhonda Foote, three bonus children Sydney, Isaac and Maxee. Three sons Terrik, Tanner, and Austin. His father Roy Foote, his bonus mother Paula Foote, his mother Rebecca Nelson Foote; brother John (Kim) Foote; and two sisters Amy (Randy) Foote Nakken and Jennifer Foote Brown.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, on Wednesday June 29th at Star Riverhouse, 960 S. Main Street, Star ID 83669.
