Luke Alan Douglas was born in McCall, ID on May 9, 2010, to mother Alaysha Kianna Douglas and father Alan Neil Douglas.

Luke lived in Donnelly, Boise, and Meridian, ID.  Luke loved hugs. He was full of laughter and goofy humor. He liked musical things and bright colors and flashy lights. He had the best laugh and just loved everybody. He and his dog Blaze were the best of buds. He was also prone to chucking things. Ode to Tabatha’s giant flat screen T.V., and the poor pregnant lady’s dinner plate that went flying as Luke put both hands behind his head like he had no idea what just happened. He loved playing in water and sand. He liked playing his piano, as well as kisses and raspberries (not the food raspberries) “maestro”, in the making of course. He enjoyed baseball and getting in licks of ice cream and Pico de Gallo, and chocolate. I nicknamed him Taz because of his Tasmanian devil sounds he would make, and he liked Sherpa blankets, soft furry pillows, and large stuffed animals.

I think my mom said it best, “Luke’s spirit filled the entire house”. His mysterious grin and laughter will never be forgotten. Never underestimate how long Luke’s big toe was. He could be innocently sitting in his wheelchair and the next thing you know he has stretched his leg out and flipped a chair over with the tip of his toe. Soft was not in Luke’s vocabulary! He loved to roughhouse, wrestle and tight Hugs or squeezes. Even though Luke was nonverbal, he was constantly vocal. He had the best laughs and “stadium screams”. These joyous sounds filled our house. Luke was pure love. He will never be forgotten.

He is survived by his parents Alaysha and Alan Douglas, brothers Bo and Max Douglas.
