Linda Kay Crouch
Linda Kay Crouch of Eagle Idaho passed away on Friday August 16, 2019 almost five-years after being presented with a disease expected to take her quickly. Just fifty-years old when first diagnosed, we thought her time was short, but were fortunate to share another five years together. Time for her oldest son Austin to marry the lovely McKayla and bring two wonderful grandsons to her life. Time for trips to Europe and the East Coast between treatments. She was so very strong. Even in pain she was taking care of others.
Linda leaves a lasting contribution to the area in the community of artists she helped create through Fusions Glass Studio in downtown Eagle. What started as a home-based love of making glass art expanded over the years to become one of the largest fused-glass studios in the western US, right here in Eagle Idaho. Much of that success is attributed to Linda’s friendly nature and the warm environment she created where artists and novices could gather to express their creativity. An interesting career change for a curious girl from South Carolina who graduated in electrical engineering from California State Long Beach and who had a successful career in the west-coast aero-space industry.
The day before she passed, Linda had a rewarding day with friends, grandchildren, and family, a wonderful transition for a special person.
We love you Linda and miss you dearly.
