We will be celebrating  Jonnie’s life in a casual upbeat gathering of family & friends.

Please bring an appetizer and your favorite Jonnie story.

Jonnie was born in Muskogee, OK, on December 20th, 1966, which we all know is the most important day of the year.  Her parents are Gary and Adell Sayler and she has 3 siblings, Joyce Linberg (Duncan, OK), Keith Parker (Mesa, AZ) and Kandy Pretz (Meridian, ID)

Jonnie grew up in Clarkston, WA where she graduated from high school in 1985.  She was actively involved in pep band, jazz band, marching band and was the Drum Major her Senior Year.  She spent her 8th grade year in Maui, Hawaii, while her family was temporarily relocated for her Dad’s job.  Jonnie was definitely a class clown and has always had the skill of being the life of the party.

Jonnie has four incredible children that are the true loves of her life.  Andy Ragan (New Orleans, LA, Age 33), Ariel Ragan (Minot, ND, Age 31), Dylan Stoy  (Meridian ID age 14) and CeCe Alexander (Meridian, ID Age 13).  Her kids all grew up with Jonnie’s love for Tom Hanks, Disney Movies and a very clean, organized home.

Jonnie had a season where she was actively involved with Children’s Ministry at Capital Christian Center where she demonstrated her passion to serve others.

She has always had a strong love for her own kids, but also loved teaching other kids how to try new things and never quit.  She was an active volunteer at Discovery Elementary and later employed at Heritage Middle School.  Jonnie is known as the “gym mom” and the “cheer mom” as it was her gift to encourage people to always do their best.

Jonnie was diagnosed with Cervical Cancer on February 7th and was optimistic for treatment and her faith of being healed.  She was determined to bring awareness to this specific type of cancer and the ease of prevention with early detection

There are so many gifts that Jonnie shared: generosity, hospitality, cooking, cleaning, organization, encouragement, cheerfulness, crafts & creativity.

The family is asking in lieu of flowers that you please contribute to her Go Fund Me Page

After a courageous fight, Jonnie had her heavenly birthday on May 7th, 2019..  We can imagine her dancing in presence of Jesus with her full head of hair and cancer-free body, organizing her new mansion (and let’s be honest, probably all of heaven) and thrilled to be spending time with her Daddy
