John Wesley Isom, 25, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 2, 2022 in his home shared with his parents. John was born on February 13, 1996 at Travis Air Force Base,
California where he was so eager to start enjoying life that the doctor hadn’t even gotten his glove on before John was already there. From the very beginning, John brought light and humor
to those around him with his joy for life and quirky sense of humor. In 2014, John graduated high school from Meridian High School and immediately took on the
world with his dog and best friend Mojo. John worked in construction and quickly rose to positions of leadership like foreman, and he had just started an exciting new job at the time of
his passing. Besides working, John loved to watch scary movies, travel, camp, and cook with his family, girlfriend, and of course his beloved dog.
John is survived by his loving parents, JameS Isom and Teresa Isom, two elder sisters, Sara Isom and Erika Noorani , brother-in-law, Adam Ali Noorani, grandparents, Larry Chase and Patsy Chase, girlfriend, Zoe Swartz, and his dearly loved dog Mojo.
Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral ceremony on Monday, January 10, 2022 at 2:30 pm at the Bowman Funeral Parlor at 10254 W. Carlton Bay, Garden City, Idaho. Live streaming and a recorded video will also be available on the Bowman website. A cemetery committal service will be held for family after the service at 4pm at Star Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Idaho Humane Society at https://idahohumanesociety.org/donate/ in honor of John’s love for shelter animals.

January 24, 2022 at 11:49 pmJim, Teresa, Sarah and Erika, We are so sorry for your loss of John. We remember when his birth was announced at our bible study group. Our hearts are heavy for you. We are so sorry we were not able to attend the funeral due to the world situation and all. We hope to contact you in near future. We love you all so much. Even though miles have kept us apart when we do see each other it is like time stood still. Even though the kids prove that time has moved on. We wish we knew John like we did the girls when they were young. Hugs and More Hugs..
