John (J.W.) Wayne Howell March 16, 1934 - April 19, 2021

John “J.W.” Wayne Howell, 87, of Caldwell, passed away April 19, 2021. John was born on March 16, 1934, in Muldrow, Oklahoma to parents John and Beulah (Wilson) Howell.

John spent much of his life in Oklahoma, California, and finally settling in Idaho. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and rock hounding during his many rock hunting trips.

He is survived by his daughter Rebecca (Dave Caviness) Howell of Caldwell, Idaho; sisters; Gail (J.J.) Jones, and Janelle Yocham of Haskell, Oklahoma; brother’s; Don Howell of Bixby, Oklahoma, and Hayden Howell of Sand Spring, Oklahoma; grandchildren; Christopher (Rocio) Pendleton of Meridian, Idaho, Kassandra (Jermey) of Kuna, Idaho, and Lyndsey (Ben Wang) Howell of Meridian, Idaho; and great grandchildren, Katrina and Carmin Pendleton of Meridian, Idaho; ex-wife;  Joan Howell Mother to Mark Howell, Doris Howell (Jensen) mother to LaDonna and Rebecca, Karen Howell, Linda Howell and Karen Howell.

John is preceded in death by his parents John A. and Beulah (Wilson) Howell; brother’s; Dillion, Roger, Darrell, Bob, and Jerry Howell; daughter; LaDonna Lowe; son; Mark Wayne Howell and granddaughter; Devon Cobbley.

A committal service will be held 2:00 pm, Thursday, April 29, 2021 at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery, 10100 Horseshoe Bend Rd., Boise, Idaho.
