Darrel Van Buren says
May 25, 2021 at 4:56 pmI had the pleasure of working for John on the Boise NF. He was truly one of the ‘good guys’, always with a joke and a smile. He was honest and always looking out for his employees, whether it was funding, equipment or safety, he always had our back. His steady hand managing the engineering program allowed us to concentrate on the task at hand and not ‘sweat the small stuff’. His door was always open and he never hesitated to ask for our opinion.
Please accept our deepest sympathies for your loss of a husband, father, and grandfather. He was a good man, friend and will be missed.
