Jimmie W. Oler, age 77, of Boise, Idaho, formerly Fort Mohave, Arizona, passed away January 27, 2020. He was born June 20, 1942 in Baton Rouge Louisiana to James Oler and Shirley Olsen Oler.
Jimmie met and married the love of his life Kathryne in San Diego, California while serving in the Navy.
Loyal and loving, Jimmie was an accomplished trap shooter, enjoyed coaching baseball and bowling with family and friends. He retired from United Parcel Service after 38 years as commercial feeder driver. Throughout his life he lived in Casper, Wyoming, West Covina, California, Camarillo, California, Fort Mohave, Arizona and Boise, Idaho.
Jimmie is survived by his sisters Megan Carlson and Pamela Hans, children, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Kathryne, brother Ron Oler, and Parents James and Shirley Oler.
Services for Jimmie to be determined.
In lieu of flowers please donate in Jimmie’s name to Alzheimer’s Foundation.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bowman Funeral Parlor.
