Jenine A. Gallegos July 29, 1971 - November 16, 2019

Jenine A. Gallegos

Jenine A Gallegos passed away peacefully November 16, 2019, surrounded by family and friends.

Jenine was born on July 29, 1971 to Bobby Gallegos and Diane Goodman. She grew up and lived in Boise most of her life. Jenine gave birth to her one and only child, Samuel Wilson on May 14th 1995. He was the light of her life and she loved him dearly. She was always extremely proud of him.

Jenine lived life to the fullest. She had many hobbies. She was known to never miss a good yard sale or pass up a chance to stop into a thrift store to see what she could find. She collected miniatures for her many shadow boxes. Another collection she cherished is her many goofy pictures taken with family and friends at the photo booth at Chucky Cheese. She would hang each one on her wall, which now takes up a lot of wall space. If she didn’t have a picture with you, chances were she was trying to get you to go to Chucky Cheese with her so she could get one. Jenine leaves behind her three dogs (Chica, Chuy and Casper) that meant the world to her. She loved dressing them up for Halloween and always enjoyed taking them for walks in the park.

Jenine loved to spend time with family and friends and there was nothing she would not do for the people she loved. You could tell by the way she lived and loved, she truly had one of the biggest, strongest hearts that one could hope to come across in life. She would always stand up for what was important to her and for those she loved.

She created so much joy, love and laughter on this earth and was definitely one of a kind. She was the best “Sissy, Mommy, Auntie, Daughter, Cousin and Friend” to all that knew her. Jenine is preceded in death by her siblings; Brenda, Rocky, and Robin, her grandparents; Mote and Tila Gallegos, and Dexter and Freda Barnes. She is survived by her mother, Diane Goodman, and father, Bobby Gallegos, sister; Danielle Gallegos, and brothers; Isaac Gallegos, Chaney Atwood, and Andy Gallegos and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, too many to mention. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 pm, on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, 7960 W. Northview St. in Boise. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am, on Friday, November 22, 2019 at St. Mark’s Catholic Church.
