Jeffrey A. Mork, beloved husband, dad, and grandpa, left this world and moved into his heavenly home on Sunday, February 6, 2022.
Jeff was welcomed into this world on Saturday, April 16, 1960 to his parents Barry and Arlene Mork. He was the second child of four (Dan, Jeff, Karen and Eric). He grew up in Spokane, Washington thoroughly enjoying the outdoors. His favorite activity was fishing the Spokane River (and fishing continued to be his favorite activity throughout his life). He graduated from the University of Idaho with two degrees in Forestry, and worked for the Bureau of Land Management for 33 years.
He married Cindy in 1988, and they raised two beautiful daughters together. There was so much life lived, so much love, so much everything. Many beautiful memories were created and are now treasured. Fishing trips, hunting adventures, vacations, times with friends and family to name a few. Jeff loved Jesus, his Savior, and lived for Him. He was confident in where he would spend eternity and that hope of heaven comforts those of us left behind, knowing as believers we will one day see him again.
He is survived by his wife Cindy, daughters Valerie and Jocelyn, sons-in-law Brandon and Tim, and grandchildren Jaimie, Raeya and Phoenix. He is also survived by his siblings and their families, a brother-in-law and sister-in-law and their families, nieces, nephews, cousins and many other family members.
We will have a memorial service for Jeff on Saturday, February 19th at 2:00 p.m., Cole Community Church, 8775 W. Ustick Road, Boise, ID 83704. Please join us as we celebrate his life, share stories, and laugh and cry together.
“Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die.” John 11:25-26
