James Leonard “Lennie” Cooper, of Boise, passed away on Sunday, May 16 2021 at the age of 64. Lennie was born i n Idaho to James Givert “Jimmy” Cooper and Beverley Grace (Owens) Cooper on Dec. 22 1956 and was the oldest of two children. He graduated from Middleton High School and then went to BSU for his Sheet Metal Apprenticeship. He worked as a Sheet Metal worker until his retirement a few years ago.
Lennie enjoyed hunting, motor cycles, taking road trips and having drinks with friends. In his later years, he got into nature photography and watching the wildlife that living in this area provides.
Lennie was survived by his daughter Fawn Cooper and her child Berkeley Maple. His son James “Zack” Cooper and his wife Tara (Creech) Cooper and their children Macie Cooper and Ava “Clover” Cooper. His sister, Cerinna (Cooper) White and her family, along with various aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family wants to thank everyone that has reached out and supported them during this time.
Following Lennie’s wishes no services will be held.
