James (Jim) C. Chamberlain April 11, 1942 - March 22, 2020

Jim was born 4-11-1942 in Penns Grove, New Jersey.
Jim lived in New Jersey until he joined the Coast Guard and enjoying his time on an ice breaker in the Antarctica. He lived his life between
N.J. and Ohio until 1984 when he ventured west and met Faye.
Jim and Faye were married in 1985 and lived in Death Valley briefly before moving to Susanville, Ca. in 1986 and worked as a civilian police officer at Sierra Army Depot in Herlong, Ca.
In 2006 Jim and Faye moved to Boise, Id. Jim was among the first of security personnel to help open FACES in the downtown Boise location and worked there 10 years.
Jim had a passion for studying the Bible, especially the Old Testament. He taught numerous in-home studies as well as studies at his church. Jim also enjoyed classical music in his spare time.
Jim lost his fight with lymphoma on March 22, 2020 at his home in Boise after an ongoing 10-year struggle.
He is survived by his wife Faye of 35 years along with 4 stepchildren: David, Angie, Melody, Chad, 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
He is also survived by his 3 children Melissa, Philip, and Brad with another 4 grandchildren.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
Services will be held at a future date in Boise, Id. at the VA cemetery. He will be greatly missed and held close in our hearts.
