Georgia Telken, 83, a resident of Middleton, ID, passed away February 22, 2023, in Middleton. Georgia was born on February 22, 1940, in Minneapolis, Minnesota to parents Sanna Sletten and John Hayes.
Georgia married her husband Darrell Telken June 5, 1965, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They moved to Idaho in 1969 and found themselves in Middleton in 1973. She was a stay-at-home mom to 4 beautiful children. Georgia loved animals, they always had dogs or cats around. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, painting, and gardening. She also loved baking bread, sweet rolls, and pies and always loved sharing them with others.
Georgia was a dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served a mission working at the bishop storehouse. She loved and thoroughly enjoyed serving others. She also volunteered at elementary schools.
She is survived by her husband Darrell Telken (Middleton, ID) her son, Christopher Telken and spouse Heidi (Covington, KY), her daughters Amy and spouse Bryan Arndt (Bronson, IA), Lea and spouse David Francis (Boise, ID). She is also survived by her grandchildren Devan, Aubrey, Brennan, Noah, Lemony, Kal-El, and Ivy.
She is proceeded in death by her parents 5 brothers and 4 sisters, and her son Scott Arthur Telken.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at 2:00pm at Middleton Cemetery, 23660 Cemetery Rd, Middleton, ID 83644.
