May 16, 2020 at 2:34 amGary was an amazingly tough yet caring man. His neighbors all loved him for his kindness and support for all. His love for his late wife and his family was always first. We are so happy that he is finally with Marlene. No more pain and sadness, Gary, but you will be so missed.

May 18, 2020 at 10:16 pmMy father was a good man worthy of the utmost respect. He always helped those around him, especially those in need. I can honestly say he is a great force behind who I am today and the life I have chosen. He will be sorely missed by his three grandchildren, my wife who enjoyed his sarcasm and witty humor, and me most of all for all the great years filled with love, thoughtful lessons and shared memories. I’ve always had love and respect for the life he provided as my father. He’s a large reason why I am a Christian and enjoy my roll in life, serving others. Dad, May the peace of the Lord be with you now and forever! All my love Dad!

May 19, 2020 at 8:54 pm… I remember what I liked about your dad. It was that when I was an awkward young teenager he was one of the only adults that treated and talked to me like I was a real person and that I mattered. He was a good guy…RIP Gary

November 22, 2020 at 11:08 amOur last Thanksgiving was definitely memorable, like all the others before it … We’ll miss you this year! I’m sure you’re laughing up there about the China virus predicament and the lockdown crap, same that prevented me from bringing the children to visit in May. What a train wreck! I know I should’ve ignored the state’s pleas and just used good judgement. For that I’ll be sorry for a long time. Love, Son

July 28, 2023 at 6:11 pmChildren had what’s called Totus Tuus this week at church, ended today. It’s like bible school that focuses on Catholicism and the mass. They had a good time away from the craziness of home. And at any rate, the real reason I’m texting, is because Iain professed that he prayed at mass today to see Grandpa Able one more time, and then things were moving in the stain glass and around the altar area and Jesus descended with Grandpa Able by his side and grandpa tells Iain that he loves him.
