Emily Dawn Eveland
Emily Dawn Eveland, September 21, 1993 – October 18, 2022, Emily, 29, departed this life to join her mother and father in Heaven. Emily is survived by her three cats, Indy, Spock, and James Tiberius Kirk. She leaves behind Two brothers and two sisters: Tyler, Autumn (Sam), Ethan, Danika, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, Deborah, and father, Andrew Eveland.
Emily was a strong, intelligent, caring, and determined individual. She was able to overcome any obstacle that was put in her way. She graduated from Eagle High School in 2012 and earned her CNA license at Renaissance High School before graduating. Emily was an entrepreneur who enjoyed starting businesses in her early twenties and cared deeply for others. She had a shop called “Hippies Hope” and a cleaning business called “Boise Cleaning Fairy.” While operating those, she attended Boise State University, where she got her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2017. Later she was accepted into Arizona State University and earned her Master’s degree in Social Work in 2021.
In life, Emily loved all animals and even wanted to be a veterinarian at a young age. While growing up, she had a lot of different pets, from dogs, birds, hamsters, guinea pigs, chickens, and bunnies; you name she probably had it, but there was one kind of animal that Emily was particularly fond of, and that was her love for cats. She loved all types of cats and took wonderful care of the ones she had at the time of her passing. They will surely miss her presence.
Emily will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and colleagues. Her ambitious legacy will not be forgotten. A viewing for Emily will be Thursday, November 10th, from 6pm to 6:45pm at Bowman Funeral Parlor, 10254 W. Carlton Bay Dr. in Garden City, followed by a memorial service by the family at Hampton Inn & Suites, 875 S. Allen St. in Meridian from 7:30pm to 8:30pm.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bowman Funeral Parlor of Garden City.

November 16, 2022 at 3:17 pmI just saw this and find it hard to believe. She worked for me briefly doing counseling in the schools at Real Solutions Counseling. She was the kindest, sweetest, counselor I know. I am so sorry for your loss, it hurts to know she is gone. She was an absolutely wonderful person and a great counselor.
