March 1, 1930 – September 11, 2021

Doyle Edward Beard, 91, of Heber Springs, AR, went to be with the Lord on September 11, 2021. He was born March 1, 1930 in Savanna, OK to the late Gwendolyn and John Ross Beard. Doyle was a U.S. Army veteran from the Korean War. He graduated from Seminary school at Patten Bible College in Oakland, CA. Doyle was a Pentecostal minister and  started a church in Boise, ID; he also took over as pastor of  a church in O’Brien, OR and of a church in Oroville, CA. He enjoyed old westerns and reading his Bible every day always studying, sharing and looking for answers. He also enjoyed spending time with his kids and grandkids. They were always his pride and joy. Doyle was preceded in death by his parents, his former wife, Margaret Beard, son-in-law, Bill Hinshaw Sr., and niece Rosemarie Holcomb.

Doyle is survived by his loving wife of 15 years Sara June Beard, sister, Opal Swindell, son, Mark Beard, daughters, Deborah (Rob) Gonzales,  Sharon Hinshaw, and Kelly (Greg) Yoho; grandchildren, Rachel, Jeremiah, Amber (Brian), Jennifer, Bill Jr. (Shannon), Patrick, Chris, Brian (Sherri), Matthew (Ivy); great-grandchildren Reagan, Cameron, Alyssa, Alexis, Anthony, Victoria, Jaidyn, Julien, Elijah, Aevin, Ezekiel, Oliver, Gideon, Amanda, Joshua, Daniel, Xavier, Mason, Amori, Kyle; numerous great-great-grandchildren, his loyal buddy, Jerry Trammell, long-time friend, Ross Stevenson, and a host of family and friends.

Interment, with military honors will be at Idaho State Veterans Cemetery – Boise, ID on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 10:00 am. There will be no visitation prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Doyle’s name to the Conway Pentecostal Church of God located in Conway, AR or a charity of your choosing.

Interment, with military honors will be at Idaho State Veterans Cemetery – Boise, ID on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 10:00 am. There will be no visitation prior to the service.
