Debra Taylor (Francis) Stephens, a resident of Boise, Idaho, died in her home March 1st, 2021 at the age of 65.
Debra was preceded in death by her mother (Mildred), father (Francis), and sister (Maurine) Stephens.
She is survived by her children; Taylor Erskine and Lindsey Erskine, and her grand children; Maria Erskine, Jordan Fox, and Truist Erskine.
Debra was born February 4th, 1956, in Boise Idaho, to Francis and Mildred Stephens.
She graduated high school in 1974, and began attending BSU shortly after. She loved writing and majored in journalism and creative writing. She soon discovered her skills and began her 35 year career working for the federal government. She began working at the IRS in 1979, and soon began her career as an IT specialist at BLM, where she retired.
Debra enjoyed bowling, water skiing, and visiting the Oregon coast. She traveled many places, but her favorite place was San Francisco.
Those who knew her appreciated her corky sense of humor and quick wittedness. She loved her children, grandchildren and pugs very much. She will be deeply missed.
Debra’s memorial service will be on her birthday (February 4th), 2022, 4pm at Bowman’s funeral in Garden City, Idaho.
