Mr. David Alan Taylor passed in our home in Boise, Idaho on October 27 th , 2022.  David (“aka” Dave) was a very special, larger than life person who was loved dearly by his wife, Cynthia M. Alley as well as numerous others.  Dave will be missed by his extended family and all his children.  Dave will be in our hearts and memories forever and will rest in the loving arms of Jesus.

Dave was born September 23rd, 1959, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Boise, Idaho (ID).  Dave was one of 7 children of Dale and Ruby Taylor.  Dave was a super talented man who loved music of all kinds and played the guitar and sang when with Cynthia.  Dave had a love of nature, camping, fishing, hunting, motorcycle riding, animals, particularly dogs and cats, dancing, journaling, and reading the Bible.  Dave also loved playing Native American hand drums and drum sets.  That in spite of mental health challenges, Dave was very artistic, enjoyed drawing, painting, and making beautiful pictures.  He also made some of our own furniture.  Dave’s favorite flowers were Roses, (especially Red), Lilly’s, Carnations, and Mums.  He loved being outside in the sunshine or with bright light on inside as well as colors around his environment.

Dave attended school in Caldwell and Boise, ID. Dave learned numerous trades working with his father Dale from a young age.  Dave started working on 3 speed transmissions and learned how to rebuild a vehicle from the bottom up.  Dave’s working career was as a Mechanic, Logger, Mobile Home Relocator, and Renovator of Rental Property.

Dave was a dreamer and wanted to fly to Egypt and see the pyramids and visit the Holy Land.  He enjoyed and was very talented at firewood cutting, fishing, playing pool, bowling, and watching Western movies on TV.  Dave loved being in the mountains and we went camping as often as time allowed.
