Daniel Craig Lancaster
Dan Lancaster passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021. He was 75 years old and lived in Meridian, Idaho. He was born on February 14, 1946 in Pomona, CA to Bob and Connie Lancaster.
Dan was a devoted husband and loving father and grandfather. He left behind his wife Patti, son Scot and his wife Tina, daughter Nicolle and her husband Matt, and son Ryan. He had ten grandchildren, Jacob, Alexia, Nicholas, Camille, Ian, Luke, Braedon, Sarah, John, and William. He also leaves behind his brother Rob and his wife Debbie, and his brother Steve.
Dan graduated from Montana State University in 1968 with a degree in business. Upon graduating he was drafted into the Army and served for two years. He was in the reserves for 6 years. Dan always had a love for home building and he built and remodeled many lovely homes over the course of 35 years. He started Danville Custom Homes when he moved to Idaho in 2002.
Dan loved his savior, Jesus Christ with all of his heart. His family and business life reflected his devotion to his Lord. Everyone who knew him recognized that Dan was a man of integrity, faith and friendship. His children and grandchildren were blessed to have such a wonderful man in their lives.
Dan enjoyed the outdoors and was a hunter, fisherman and golfer. He loved scouting great hunting areas with his sons and grandsons.
A celebration of Dan’s life will be held on Friday, October 15, at 2:00 at Eagle Christian Church in Eagle, Idaho. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Boise Rescue Mission.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bowman Funeral Parlor of Garden City.
