Clara Mae English (Mickelson), age 88, passed away peacefully Wednesday, 18th of May 2022. Clara was born May 10th, 1934 in Gunnison, Utah and was the sixth child of 9 children. After a fire that destroyed the family home, they moved to Jerome, Idaho at 3 months of age. She grew up in Jerome and graduate from Jerome High School with the class of 1952. Clara married Alan Kelly Johns April 19th, 1953 and moved to Boise. They had three children, Connie Patch Hurt, Richard (Rick) Johns, and Shonna Klarich. Her second marriage was to Rudy Van Cleave July 10, 1966 and had a daughter, Diana Van Cleave.
Clara had many jobs from Evan’s Refrigeration, Dennis Dillion, and owner of Boise’s Best Mobile homes. She will be remembered as being the life of the party and having the kindest giving heart. She was a loving grandmother of Brian, Christopher, Jeremy, Jennifer, and Kade (K2). She also had seven wonderful great-grandchildren.
Clara will be missed as she cherished all of her friendships and lifelong friend Rosie Nancolas in all parts of her life. She loved with all of her heart and always greeted everyone with warm hugs and kisses. Clara was passionate about her feathered friends and furry squirrels. Also, her beloved Angel Bella who never left her side.
Mother you took a part of our hearts with you and now hugs and kisses to the very special angel that you are now.
