Cheryl Joann Shackelford, resident of Boise, passed away December 24, 2020, in Boise.
Cheryl was born April 28, 1959 in Sonoma, CA to Clara Ann Smith (Hillburn) and Arlin Lockwood. She graduated from Annelly High School in Sebastopol, CA. She married Randall Shackelford on September 23, 2004 in Reno, NV.
Cheryl had a very kind soul; she would make friends easily no matter what kind of background they had. She would often refer to her younger co-workers as her adopted children and she would help them in any way she could, on or off the job. She will be missed deeply by all those who were lucky enough to have had her in their lives. She enjoyed sewing, Facebook, and loved all animals
She is preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Clara Ann and Arden Smith, mother-in-law and step-father-in-law, M. Colleen and John Kieffer, Sr. step grandson, Christian Shackelford, and her dog Hailey.
She is survived by her husband, Randall Shackelford (Boise), father and stepmother Arlin and Joan Lockwood (Pocatello), children; Joshua Ryan (AR), Shawn (Amy) Ryan (CA), Andrew (Marie) Ryan (CA), step-children; Shelly Diest Warren (AZ) and Adam (Andrea) Shackelford (AZ), Brothers, Dan (Beth) Lockwood (OR) and Alan (Carol) Lockwood (CA), father-in-law and step-mother-in-law, Clyde and Marjorie Shackelford (AZ), grandchildren, Trinity, Isabella, Blake, Tyler, Hailey, Jaelynn, Kannon, step-grand-children, Paige, Bailey, Jeanna, Nathan, and Jaysen, honorary children; Marcus (Melissa) Burgess (CA), Ryan (Amy) Martinovich (CA), her dog, Donner and too many more friends to mention, she held a special place in her heart for each and every one of you.
