Brian Alvin Walter January 8, 1958 - February 8, 2019

Brian Alvin Walter, 61, died in an automobile accident on February 8, 2019.

Brian is survived by his sons Jason, Jerry, and Joey, his brother Bob, and his two sister’s Gwenna and Pam. He is preceded in death by his mother Colleen E. Walter and his father Alvin R. Walter.

Brian was born on January 8, 1958 in Boise, ID. Brian received his auto mechanics certification from Boise State University. Brian worked as a builder with Lodge Logs for 20+ years. He loved fabricating log beds and chests and in his time at Lodge Logs Brian made hundreds of stunning pieces of wooden furnishings. Brian was full of love, compassion, and humor and always knew how to light up a room. He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed it. Brian was an excellent handyman and could find a way to fix almost anything. He left a lasting impact on everybody he met and anyone who knew Brian knew that they could call him anytime they needed anything. His love for Scooby-Doo was unmatched by any other, he could go on for hours discussing Scooby. One can only hope that Scooby-Doo gave Brian half of the joy that he gave everyone else. Brian’s ability to make people smile was a gift that kept on giving, he was so full of life and character and never tried to take life too seriously. Brian was an incredibly unique individual and he will be deeply missed.

There will be a graveside service for Brian at Cloverdale Cemetery Saturday February 16, 2019 at 12:00 P.M.

Flowers in Brian’s honor may be sent to Bowman Funeral Home.
