Bonnie Lee Dilworth
Bonnie Lee Dilworth peacefully went home to Jesus on Friday, July 2, 2021, at the age of 67.
She was born to George and Shirley Porter on February 15, 1954, in Margate, England and grew up in Garden City, Idaho with her 3 brothers: John Lyon, George (Smoky) Porter and Dan Porter.
She is survived by her brothers as well as her husband; sons; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Bonnie met the love of her life Jerry Dilworth in high school, and they celebrated 49 years of marriage. They raised their 2 sons, Jason and Brady in Nampa, Idaho. They have 3 grandchildren; Regina, Raymond and Brittney; as well as 6 great-grandchildren; Paisley, Hunter, Hailey, Gavinn, Allison and Phoenix.
Family was Bonnie’s best joy and blessing in her life.
Her life was spent serving others. She worked many years as a caregiver as well as an advocate for others. Always there to help when needed.
Her passions include genealogy as well as research and exploring cemeteries and enjoying time at her cabin in Garden Valley.
As a member of the Church of the Rock in Nampa, her faith in God was strong and never wavering. Her kind and generous spirit was felt by those who knew her.
Her devotion to her family and friends was her life. Her spirit will live on through the people she touched throughout her life.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, on Monday, July 12, 2021, at Bowman Funeral Parlor, 10254 W. Carlton Bay Dr. in Garden City, with visitation beginning at 11:00 am.
