Beverly Jane (Rice) Smith, age 70, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Boise, Idaho, after a long battle with cancer. Beverly was born on November 25, 1951, to Katherine and Hyrum (Bill) Rice. She was born and raised in the small town of Burley, Idaho, the youngest of three children.
Beverly loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. The highlight of her days was watching and cheering for her grandkids at their various actives. She rarely missed a game or family function. Beverly was always ready to give a hug and a smile.
Beverly is survived by her husband Bill Smith, her three children, Scott (Nicky) Hutchinson, Shelby (Stacy) Stuart and Chase (Cheryl) Hutchinson. Her three stepchildren, Jesse (Heather) Smith, James (Annesa) Smith, Katie (Patrick) Smith-Montgomery. Along with her fourteen grandchildren, Megan, Samantha and Nate Hutchinson, Hailey, Sydney and Shawn Stuart, Madison, Brooke and Payton Hutchinson, Tyler and Abby Smith, Calvin and Ava Smith, and Trystin Smith. Beverly was preceded in death by her father, mother, sister, and brother.
