Beverly Ann Goodman, 87 of Meridian Idaho, passed away on Friday May 28th, 2021. Born September 22nd, 1933 in San Jose California, she was the daughter of the late John and Theresa Phillips.
She is survived by her daughter Terryann Simoni, son-in-law Neil A. Simoni, granddaughter Kristine L. Simoni, of Idaho, brother James J. Phillips, sister-in-law Wilma E. Phillips, their daughter Sandra and her husband Darrell Nelson and their children, her cousin Ginny Scruton of California, and her children, as well as her many friends that loved her and will miss her both in Idaho and California.
Beverly loved being a nurse most of her life in the Bay area of Northern California, and volunteered at St. Luke’s Hospital in Meridian Idaho after she moved to Idaho in 2005 to be near her daughter and son-in-law.
Beverly loved the beach, her family and friends, her home was always filled with warmth, light, laughter, fresh flowers and love. Her smile would light up a room no matter where she was. She was bright and shiny and sparkly.
As her daughter, we would always end up with the giggles, sometimes at the most inappropriate times! We did this often ever since I can remember! But that was her! I NEVER knew a day without an I Love You! I will miss her ALWAYS.
“I love you as BIG as the WHOLE sky Mommy”. Was always my response to her question, “how much do you love me”? Even in her last days as I walked out of her room at night, that is the question she asked, and my response was always just the same as it was when I was her little girl.
In lieu of flowers suggested donation may be made in Beverly’s honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital https://www.stjude.org/
A memorial service will be held, 2:00 pm, Thursday, June 10, 2021, Bowman Funeral Parlor, 10254 W. Carlton Bay Dr., Garden City.
