Anita Mae Fauth August 27, 1937 - January 14, 2021

Anita Mae Crabtree was born to Ethal and Yewell Crabtree, August 27, 1937 in El Monte, California . Died January 14, 2021 with her husband by her side at Arbor Village at Hillcrest, in Boise.

She had two brothers,  Donald and Stanley and 1 half-brother Ernest and 3 half-sisters,  Helen, Margie and Faye.  At the age of 7 yrs. old her mother died and her father abandoned the family. Her brother Ernest and wife Helen Barrett took Anita in and raised her as their own. Anita affectionately  called them Mom and Dad.  She gained another brother, Ernie and two sisters Carol and Pam.

After graduating from Boise High School Anita married Leroy Fauth, her loving and devoted husband, on June 5, 1956.  They moved to Yakima, WA.  Leroy worked in drywall and construction.  Anita was his bookkeeper for 50 yrs. They had two sons Steve and Andrew, 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchilren. Anita was a devoted mother, a good cook and excellent seamstress. She made most of her clothes and a lot of the boy’s clothes.  Before her health declined, she also enjoyed working in her flower gardens. Anita was a lifelong member of the The Church of God Seventh Day. Her faith  was always very important to her.  They moved to Meridian in 1971.

She will be missed by those that loved her and will live in our hearts forever.

    I enjoyed doing Anita’s hair and hearing stories about her family. She always mentioned what good care she received from her sweet husband. My sincerest condolences to her husband and sons.
