Andrew Timothy Garcia 47, passed away Thursday, February 16th 2023 at St. Alphonsus RMC with a large presence of friends and family.
Andy was born November 12, 1975 at St. Luke’s in Boise, Idaho. Son of Michael Garcia Sr and Suzy Garcia. He was born the second of 3 children with older brother Mike Jr (Boogie) and younger sister Danae Garcia (Nae Nae).
Graduated from Capital High School in 1994 as a star running back.
Andy spent 29 loving years with his soul mate Chelsea Travis from Boise, Idaho. They were blessed with 3 beautiful children, Josie Garcia (Justin) Dasia Garcia (Jordan) and Shiloh Garcia. They also have 1 granddaughter Maevis Garcia, who Andy absolutely adored!
Andy was in the Automotive industry starting as a window tinter, then moving to his profession of Lead PPF installer at Xpel Boise.
His hobbies included, Hiking, Camping with friends and family, Motorcycle riding, and watching the Denver Broncos. He had a heart of gold and anyone who knew him, knew that. He was always looking forward to the next adventure in life!
Andy made big impacts on anyone who met him and made positive differences touching everyone’s lives.
Andy’s greatest love in life was his wife Chelsea, children, and grandchild. He was a loving and dedicated, hardworking husband and father. Loved traveling to the mountains with family and friends. His children couldn’t have asked for a more loving, fun, charismatic, devoted father.
He will always be remembered for his crazy antics, jokes, teasing and very creative sarcasm. He was known as the Guy Fieri of Idaho. He knew all the Hot Spots and the not so Hot Spots to dine, with his sidekick Shiloh. You always knew he was up to something devious when you heard his deep hearty laugh that was unforgettable and only he had.
Andy is survived by his wife, 3 children, granddaughter, his father, older brother and younger sister. He was preceded in death by his Mother and several family members.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am, Thursday March 2nd, 2023 at St Mary’s Catholic Church in Boise, Idaho.
A Celebration of Life will be held after the services at 1pm at the VFW 8931 W. Ardene St in Boise.
