Our beloved Bill was born in San Jose California on Jan. 4th, 1955. He grew up with his family including four sisters in the San Jose area. As Bill grew older, he helped support his family as his father Don Titcomb traveled frequently and was away often due to being a World Champion Horseshoe pitcher. Bill found the love of his life and best friend in a pizza parlor in San Jose. Teresa and Bill would fall in love and get married almost 2 years later in May of 1981. Their first son Kendahl was born in 1982. Bill would work hard every day for his family and eventually moved his family to Fresno, California. In 1984 they welcomed a beautiful baby girl Amber. Then in 1991 they negotiated before having their third child a baby boy Jeffrey. Bill was a hard working wonderful Father and loving husband. Bill loved to golf, fish, camp, travel but would spend nearly every Thursday night bowling. Bowling was such a big part of Bills life he would travel to be in tournaments and really wanted to pursue a career in professional bowling but family always came first.
Bill moved with Teresa and the kids to Boise, Idaho in 1994. Settling in Boise, Bill would find a job working for Interstate Electric and later get his Journeyman’s Electrician License at BSU. Although Boise is beautiful, in 2006 Bill would find one of his favorite places and a bit of heaven just north of Boise, in Cascade, Idaho where he and Teresa bought a cabin. They spent so many weekends, holidays, and the occasional quickie trips at their cabin that it would become a place of refuge for Bill. Best friends and family would often accompany him to the cabin for a few rounds of golf with a bloody Mary or two, some time boating, hanging out at Lakeshore fishing or just relaxing in the beautiful nature of the cabin. He loved it there so much.
Bill was never one to turn anyone away when they needed help. He would give his shirt, jacket, his only day off or his last dollar if it meant he could make someone smile or help them get to where they needed. Bill was a true man of God that believed in the rule of “do onto others as you would have them do unto you”. Bill was a compassionate, loving, caring, car enthusiast, guitar playing, electrical genius, especially good at everything husband, father and friend. Bill was a bright light in this world that now seems a bit more dim. Bill may no longer be with us but he and his lessons will not be forgotten by those that knew him.
Bill is survived by his wife of 42 years, Teresa, his children; Kendahl (Amy), Amber and Jeff, his 6 grandchildren; Mckenna, Kaiden, Jude, Oliver, Adeline, and Juniper. His sisters, Donna, Judy, MaryLynn and Patty, In-laws, nieces, nephews, and so many dear friends. Tipper will miss him too.
The one thing Bill would always say is “I love my life!” and he lived his life full of that love and it showed.
A funeral service will be held, 11:00 am, Friday, October 13, 2023 at Parkview Christian Church, 201 W. Ustick Rd., Meridian, Idaho. A committal service will follow at Meridian Cemetery, 895 E. Franklin Rd., Meridian, Idaho.
