Wade Irwin Davison

December 7, 1958 – January 21, 2025

Wade Irwin Davison, 66, of Wilder, ID, passed away at. St. Alphonsus hospital surrounded by the love of his wife and daughters. He was born on December 7, 1958, in Pico Rivera, California. He was the son of the late Edward and Adrienne Davison.

Wade was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He graduated from Santa Fe High School in Santa Fe Springs, CA, in 1977. This is where he met his high school sweetheart and wife of 42 years, Peggy. His working career began at a grocery distribution center in CA where he was a Teamster for 14 years before he transitioned to Idaho as a production line manager at Hewlett Packard and Jabil Circuit Company. Later, he became a successful real estate agent with Homes of Idaho, earning multiple sales achievement awards, and later with RE/MAX. Wade then pursued his broker license, starting his own venture known as Buy and Sell Idaho, LLC.

From an early age, Wade embraced responsibility beyond his years, caring for his beloved sister, Heather, and forging his own path with quiet resilience and determination. These qualities later helped to shape his role as a supportive husband, father and grandfather.

He found joy in the simple things-whether through his love of collecting signs of all kinds (vintage road and business signs, shop signs, metal and foil signs), home projects on his river view property, or spending time with his family playing games and making people laugh. Wade cherished family time in the mountains, from the days when his children were young in Green Valley Lake, CA, to the beloved New Meadows property in Idaho that remains a special place. His family plans to continue his love of gathering in the mountains. His legacy is one of love, sacrifice, and an unshakable commitment to those he held dear.

He is survived by his loving wife, Peggy Davison; his children, Stephanie (Joseph) Slawson, Michelle (Lundyn) Oropeza, Blair (Ben) Eby, Megan Davison, and Brandee Dubois; his sister, Heather (Jim) Mumford; stepmother, Margaret Davison; stepsister, Tracy Johannessen; and his grandchildren, Rheya, Kian, Eleanor, Sabrina, Wesley, Bram, Brody, Everett, and Bruce. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Guy Davison.

A celebration of Wade’s life will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at Bowman Funeral Parlor, 10254 W Carlton Bay Dr., Boise, ID 83714. Visitation will start at 12:00 pm MST and ceremony at 1:00 pm MST. There will be a short, escorted procession to the burial site at Dry Creek Cemetery following the ceremony.
