Eagle, Id. Vicki was born on August 17,1946 in Pocatello, Idaho to Sydney Lewis and Caroline Boyd. She attended Pocatello High School and Idaho State University. In Pocatello she was a telephone operator for Mountain Bell. On a blind date, she met her future husband, James Wozniak.
She eventually transferred to Boise where Jim lived and continued to work for the telephone company as a supervisor. Vicki had a son, Jason, from a previous marriage. Jim adopted Jason. On May 6th, 1972, she and Jim were married and lived very happily for over 52 years. Their son, Aaron, was born in Boise.
Vicki loved to decorate her homes; she received many compliments for her beautiful arrangements. She enjoyed arts and crafts and once won a blue ribbon for her macrame’ at the state fair. Camping at Warm Lake was always a summer highlight. She loved decorating her home to reflect the changing seasons and the holidays. Vicki made a lovely and welcoming home for everyone.
With courage and dignity, Vicki fought the challenges of muscular dystrophy (FSHD) all her adult life. She was always positive, engaging and never complained. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed socializing. She was an inspiration to everyone who knew her.
Vicki leaves behind her husband, Jim, her son Jason and his daughter, Luna. She also leaves her son Aaron, his partner Alisa Noleen and their daughter Adelaine. Vicki adored her two lovely granddaughters. Vicki was also blessed to have Melissa Brother and her daughter, Luna in her life. Melisa’s husband, Tony, and two sons, Bodhi and Noah, were also part of her family circle. Melissa’s and Alisa’s love and support helped Vicki tremendously. Her family will miss her dearly.
Vicki died peacefully on September 13, 2024, with family by her side. The world has lost a beautiful soul.
We would like to thank the professional staff at Keystone Hospice who showed compassion and love in helping Vicki through her final journey. They were wonderful and so much appreciated.
