TinaMarie Hill

TinaMarie Hill of Eagle, Idaho, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2025, after a brave and valiant battle with cancer. She was 61 years old. At the time of her passing, she was actively working toward a degree in medical coding, showing her determination to grow, learn, and contribute even in the face of enormous challenges.

Born in Kittery, Maine, on January 11, 1964, to John Walter Traska and Betty Marjorie Traska (née Payne), TinaMarie brought light, warmth, and humor into the lives of everyone she met.

She had a heart full of creativity and a spirit that found beauty in simple joys. She loved to garden and especially enjoyed building whimsical fairy gardens.

Her talent for home décor made every space she touched feel comforting, welcoming, and distinctly her own. Everything was neat, tidy, and full of care. It was a reflection of how she lived her life and how deeply she loved those around her.

She had a deep love for music and found joy in singing karaoke. It was more than a hobby. It was her outlet, her way of expressing herself with freedom and fun.

Her sense of humor was magnetic. She had the timing of a comedian and loved to make people laugh, often with a twinkle in her eye and a perfectly timed one-liner.

Even in the hardest moments of her illness, she continued to show up for others with unwavering generosity, loyalty, and compassion. She was fiercely selfless, often thinking of others before herself. She faced adversity with strength and always carried herself with grace and courage.

TinaMarie is survived by her husband, Kevin Hill; her sons, Michael and Andrew Smith; and her soon-to-arrive grandson, Coltin Smith, who will grow up hearing stories of his strong, funny, and extraordinary grandmother.

She is also survived by her brother, Johnny Traska, and her sisters, Moira Beach and Elaine Kupchik.

TinaMarie will be remembered not only for the love she gave but for the way she made others feel seen, heard, and cherished. Her laughter, her strength, and her deep well of love will never be forgotten.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd, at 11:00 AM at Bowman Funeral Parlor, 10254 W. Carlton Bay Dr., Garden City, ID 83714.
