Tina Marie Salazar, born on June 28, 1962, in Costa Mesa, California, departed this life on September 3, 2025, in Eagle, Idaho. She lived a life characterized by love, dedication, and a passion for cooking, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew her.
Tina’s journey began at Newland Elementary School in Huntington Beach, California, before she completed her education at Edison High School in Huntington Beach. In a celebration of love and commitment, Tina married Gary Steven Salazar on August 27, 1983, at St. Simon & Jude Catholic Parish in Huntington Beach. Together, they shared a life rich with memories and joys.
Professionally, Tina made her mark as the general manager at CoCo's Restaurant & Bakery, where her dedication and leadership shone brightly. She also served as the Chief Financial Officer at Mobility Giver, showcasing her multifaceted talents and strong work ethic.
As a gourmet chef, Tina had a special interest in cooking that brought people together around delicious meals and cherished moments. Her passion for food was reflected not only in her culinary skills but also in the warmth and hospitality she offered to family and friends.
Tina was a devoted disciple of Christ, finding strength and guidance in her faith throughout her life. This spiritual commitment was a cornerstone of her character, influencing her actions and interactions with those around her.
Tina is survived by her loving husband, Gary S. Salazar, their daughter Tiana Salazar-Durbin, and sons Brennan Salazar, Jordan Salazar, and Delaney Salazar. She was also a proud grandmother to Penelope and Oliver Durbin, Aaliyah and Avalon Salazar, and Everett and Ryder Salazar, who will remember her for the love and joy she brought into their lives.
She is preceded in death by Walter Buck, Cheri Salazar Ramin, Evelyn Buck, Mike Salazar, and Gil Salazar, who have welcomed her into the eternal embrace.
A celebration of Tina's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at the family home, with Jose Espinoza officiating. It will be a moment for family and friends to gather, share in remembrance, and honor the spirit of a remarkable woman who touched so many lives.
